Healthcare Human Rights

Apply the Words "Human Rights" to Healthcare

Metaphors are constitutive. America's current legal metaphor of healthcare as a product shows disregard for human rights and systemically causes 45,000 deaths per year of people denied care because of a lack of insurance. Please consider the following questions concerning five human rights principles:

  • Human Right to Universality Do you want all Americans, by virtue of our humanity, free to receive patient-doctor healthcare like the United States declared in 1948 when we signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to advance world peace?
  • Human Right of Equity - Do you want all Americans, by virtue of our humanity, free to be cared for when we need to be regardless of our economic status?
  • Human Right to Accountability - Do you want all Americans, by virtue of our humanity, guaranteed our freedom to receive patient-doctor healthcare by an effective public government of, by, and for the people?
  • Human Right to Transparency - Do you want all Americans, by virtue of our humanity, free to access a user friendly patient-doctor healthcare system?
  • Human Right to Participation - Do you want all American lives, by virtue of our humanity, free to participate in the building of a caring society with a caring economy with ethical business that strengthens our health and expands our freedom?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, you may want to consider how to help us expand healthcare human rights. Please DOWNLOAD this flyer and contact us.
