Caring Economy & Ethical Business

Supporter of 2009 UN Global Compact & Rotary International Collaboration

The First Caring Citizens' Congress of Wilmington, Ohio, is happy to support its individual members who are Rotarians in their work with the Rotarian Action Group for Peace in District 6670. Rotary International is the first business civic organization, established in 1905, to focus on human rights. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights had its foundation in Rotary International's Resolution on Human Rights, 1940, passed in Havana, Cuba, at its 1940 RI Convention.

Caring Citizens' Congresses are member organizations of the Empathy Surplus Project, a stakeholder participant of the UN Global Compact (click the globe to the right). Delegates of Caring Citizens' Congresses seek to partner with individual Rotarians to wage peace by respecting, protecting, and promoting human rights in their spheres of influence. We want to be the go to place where Rotarians can take their Rotary values into the political arena.
